1. Who these terms are with
This website is run by BeirutFlow, a freelance team of developers and designers based in Beirut, Lebanon. We are not a registered company. "We", "us" and "our" mean that team. "You" means anyone using this site.
2. Using this website
By browsing beirutflow.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You may read, print and share our pages for your own use. You may not scrape the site at scale, try to break into it or into anything behind it, use it to distribute anything harmful, or present our work as your own.
3. What belongs to whom
The design, code, text, photography and illustration on this site are ours or licensed to us. The BeirutFlow name and mark are ours.
The client work shown on our work page is published with those clients' agreement. Their names, logos and trademarks belong to them, and nothing here transfers any right in them to you.
4. What this site is and is not
These pages describe what we do and roughly what it costs. They are not an offer to enter a contract, and nothing here is professional advice you should act on without talking to us.
We work to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, move or withdraw any part of it without notice.
5. Projects are governed by your quote, not by this page
If we send you a quote, the quote you accept — together with anything else we sign with you — is the contract for that project. These website terms do not govern the work, do not limit what the quote promises, and where the two say different things, the quote wins.
So the scope, the price, the schedule, the payment terms, what happens if either side wants to stop, and who owns what at the end all live in the quote and in any agreement attached to it. If a quote is silent on something that matters to you, ask before you accept it rather than after.
6. Quotations and approval
- A quote is valid for 30 days from the date we send it, unless it says otherwise. After that we may re-price it.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax or duty that may apply to you.
- Ticking the confirmation box and submitting the approval form is a binding acceptance of the lines you selected and the total shown. We record the date, time, IP address and browser at that moment as the record that it was made.
- The total is worked out on our side from the prices we hold, not from the figure your browser displayed. If the two ever differ, the quote we honour is the one priced from our own catalogue — and we will tell you before doing anything about it.
- An approval is not an instruction to start. Work begins once we have confirmed it and received any deposit the quote asks for.
7. Links to other sites
Where we link somewhere else, it is because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they contain or what they do with your data.
8. Our liability
This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of profit, business, data or goodwill arising from using it, or from being unable to use it.
Our liability for a project we are engaged on is dealt with in the quote for that project, not here.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The version in force is the one published here, with the date at the top. Changes do not alter a quote you have already accepted — that stays on the terms in force when you accepted it.
